Livingstone named ‘The Falls’, as they are often affectionately known, after his great queen. Today the surrounding area, which lies within the Zambezi National Park, is more commonly known as a centre for adventure sports. Embark on thrilling bungee jumps, exciting white water rafting trips and canoe rides on the mighty Zambezi River.
But first, make sure to follow some of the network of walking trails that lead around the waterfalls through scenic rainforest.
