One of the largest private game preserves on Africa’s Eastern Cape, the award-winning Shamwari Game Reserve prides itself on its commitment to the environment and nature conservation – perhaps one reason why it has been named “The World’s Leading Safari and Game Reserve” and “World’s Leading Conservation Company” for thirteen years. Also voted among the “Top Ten Luxury Resorts in Africa” by members of TripAdvisor.com, Shamwari promises the “safari of a lifetime,” with individually-designed programmes that include morning or evening game drives or visits to the Born Free Foundation, a big cat sanctuary. Or enjoy the luxuries of the spa treatments at nearby resorts for the ultimate indulgence, allowing you to combine rejuvenation, luxury, and adventure all in one.
