The Resort boasts 178 rooms, all with patios and balconies and either water or garden views, beautifully furnished in white wicker. Two-bedroom villas are also a good choice for couples traveling together or families; each villa opens out onto a private outdoor lounge, and has its own kitchen, where guests can prepare their own meals with sundries fetched from an on-site deli.
But it’s the outdoors that will take your heart in Antigua, and at St. James’s, you can enjoy any number of land and water sports, from tennis to deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, and diving among the coral reefs and legendary shipwrecks such as the Andes, which sank off nearby Deep Bay in June, 1905. Deeper dives of up to 150 feet will challenge and excite even the most experienced divers as they make their way among extraordinary and exotic sea mammals – including a few barracuda!
