The Okavango Delta is renowned for its spectacular game sightings, and the large numbers of elephants living in the area – as well as giraffe, buffalo, cheetah, and other exotic, beautiful game and predatory animals. Several special activities allow guests to encounter these beasts on game drives – some even at night, where you can sight hyena, leopard, and the occasional grazing zebra. By day, take a trip along the delta and watch nature’s magic surround you, from buffalo to hippos and even crocodiles. Walking safaris are also on offer, giving you an opportunity to come close to lions, leopards, elephants, and other spectacular animals of the African savannahs. Helicopter flights can also be arranged, allowing you to view areas that are inaccessible by foot or sea.
The Camp also features special elephant encounters. A group of orphaned elephants have been raised near the camp and are accustomed to interacting with the resort’s guests – an experience unlike any you’re likely to find elsewhere, and one you are certain never to forget.
